Is it time to start thinking about meeting up in person?
So far, this series has focused on how we can adapt the face to face team building to building robust teams remotely .
With the easing of restrictions, we are going to have a brand-new challenge. With some people returning to physical offices and others staying home to work, teams are likely to feel a little disjointed.
In order to prevent an “us and them” culture developing, there needs to be a way for teams to reconnect, level the playing field and blow off some steam.
Perhaps now is the time to give some thought to actually meeting up, obviously within the government guidelines.
What did she just say!?
From June the 8th, we are permitted to meet for outdoor activities up to 20km away from home. How about organising a (socially distanced) outdoor activity for your team? – like a walk, a picnic, a game of croquet or a sea swim.
Or you could try a socially distanced, super fun, Red Squirrel treasure hunt where you will get to see you team reconnect and where each member will have a chance to shine!
