Re-engaging your team through a staff survey
How are we expected to know what the ‘new normal’ means for our team…. unless we ask them?
Now could be the time to dig a little deeper into your teams’ level of engagement post-quarantine, with an employee engagement survey.
This is a great way to really hear their ideas and check the temperature of your team/organisation. It is also an opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to them and your ability to change based on their ideas.
There are lots of useful online resources you can use to create a team engagement survey, such as: 20 simple Employee Engagement survey questions you should ask and Employee Engagement Survey Template
Remember, don’t waste resources on a survey that you’re not willing to act upon, otherwise the process could end up being counterproductive. You need to be ready and willing to implement change and respond to the results with a meaningful follow up.
And, if you really commit to conducting a high quality employee engagement survey, you could see significant improvements in engagement from the outset.
